Rachelle Mendez is a 7-time Emmy® award-winning producer, developer, and showrunner. She is well known for her work on 5 seasons of Netflix’s QUEER EYE and has been honored with Emmy® award wins for Outstanding Structured Reality Show in 2020, 2019, and 2018. Most recently, Mendez Executive Produced and Showran Marie Kondo’s SPARKING JOY for Netflix. Mendez also Co-Executive Produced the critically acclaimed LEAH REMINI: SCIENTOLOGY & THE AFTERMATH, for which she won the 2017 Emmy® award for Best Informational Series, and the 2018 Producers Guild Award for Outstanding Producer of Non-fiction TV. To add to her many accolades, Mendez was also nominated for a PGA Award forNonfiction Television of the Year, for her work on UNDERCOVER BOSS and received consecutive Emmy® award wins for Outstanding Reality Program in 2012 and 2013. Mendez is extremely passionate about the art of non-fiction storytelling and ensuring that unrepresented voices do not go unheard. A second generation Mexican American, Mendez was raised in Houston, Texas.
